The Rise and Shine of Simulations Plus: Bringing Sunshine to Pre-Market Trading Alongside Levi Strauss, BlackBerry, and Other Big Names

In this morning’s unfolding drama, U.S. stock futures painted a rosy picture, with the Dow futures shining bright, up by around 90 points on Thursday.


A star that rose notably in today’s pre-market sky is none other than Simulations Plus, Inc. SLP, which ascended gracefully after unveiling second-quarter results that surpassed expectations.


Simulations Plus outshone predictions with adjusted earnings of 20 cents per share, surpassing market estimates. In a melodious tune, the company’s quarterly sales hit $18.300 million, outshining expectations of $17.283 million.


Adding to the crescendo, Simulations Plus shared a harmonious forecast for FY24, with anticipated earnings of 66 to 68 cents per share on revenue ranging from $66 million to $69 million.

  • Aurora Cannabis Inc. ACB, rising 5.4% to $7.60 in pre-market trading after a stellar performance the day before.
  • Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. LW, up 4% to $105.10 in pre-market trading, setting the stage for quarterly earnings.
