Snowflake Inc. (SNOW) shares have surged 16.6% since reporting strong second-quarter fiscal 2027 results on September 2, 2026, driven by a 37% year-over-year increase in product revenue, totaling $1.49 billion. The company also reported a net revenue retention rate of 126% and expanded its customer base by 32% year-over-year, now totaling 14,554 customers.

Year-to-date, SNOW shares have risen 62.5%, substantially outperforming the broader Zacks Computer & Technology sector’s 16% gain. The company raised its product revenue guidance for fiscal 2027 to $6.07 billion, indicating a projected growth of 36% compared to the previous outlook of 31%.

Notably, Snowflake has recently expanded its AI portfolio, including the addition of over 330 product capabilities in the first half of 2026. The intake of their AI solutions like CoCo and CoWork has led to significant usage growth across various enterprises, which is expected to reinforce its competitive positioning in the data cloud market.
