Soybean prices have increased by 3 to 4 cents in early trading on Thursday, with futures rising between 8 to 11½ cents across various contract months. The total open interest indicated net new buying, climbing by 9,390 contracts. As of March 26, the Mar 26 Soybeans closed at $10.64½, while the nearby cash price was noted at $9.94, 12¼ cents higher.
In trade-related developments, U.S. Trade Representative Greer indicated there might be a meeting with Chinese officials before April, ahead of a planned summit between Presidents Trump and Xi. This comes after Secretary Bessent’s constructive discussions with China’s Vice Premier in Davos on Wednesday.
