Soybean Market Faces Continued Pressure on Wednesday

Soybean prices fell on Wednesday, with nearby contracts posting losses of 5 to 8 cents. The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price decreased by 8 cents to $9.73. Soymeal futures dropped by $1.20 per ton, while Soy Oil experienced a decline of 56 to 73 points. Additionally, 139 deliveries were issued against July meal futures, raising the total for the month to 4,047.

Analysts are anticipating a 10 million bushel increase in old crop bean stocks to 360 million bushels ahead of the USDA reports this Friday. The Bloomberg survey predicts a 7 million bushel reduction in new crop output, adjusting expected production to 4.333 billion bushels due to a slight decrease in acreage. Ending stocks for the 2025/26 crop year are estimated at 302 million bushels, up 7 million from June.
