Soybean futures rose on March 26, with contracts increasing by 8 to 11 ½ cents, closing at $10.64 ½, while nearby cash prices also gained 12 ¼ cents to reach $9.94. Soymeal futures decreased by 20 cents to $2.10/ton, while Soy Oil futures saw a rise of 107 to 145 points.
In trade discussions, U.S. Trade Representative Greer indicated the possibility of meetings with Chinese officials before April, coinciding with President Trump’s anticipated meeting with President Xi. Secretary Bessent recently held positive talks with China’s Vice Premier in Davos.
