Soybean futures are experiencing early losses of 11 to 12 cents on Thursday, following slight gains on Wednesday. The USDA reported an export sale of 372,000 MT of soybeans on June 14, with 60,000 MT attributed to old crop and 312,000 MT to new crop shipments. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price rose by 1.75 cents to $10.79. The market is set to observe a break on Friday for Juneteenth.
Today, traders anticipate the release of Export Sales data, forecasting between 100,000 and 300,000 MT for old crop sales and between 250,000 and 500,000 MT for new crop sales for the week ending June 11. A Reuters survey estimates meal sales between 200,000 and 650,000 MT, with soybean oil bookings ranging from net cancellations of 2,000 MT to sales of 20,000 MT.
