On Thursday, soybeans dropped by 7 to 9.5 cents across front months, with the cmdtyView national average cash bean price rising 10 cents to $10.85 ½. Soymeal futures decreased by $2.10 to $2.50, while soy oil futures increased by 100 to 106 points.
The EPA submitted its proposed 2026 biofuel mandates for review to the White House OMB on Wednesday, and it is expected to shift half of previously waived biofuel obligations from small refinery exemptions to larger oil refineries.
In the USDA’s Export Sales report for the week of February 19, total soybean sales were recorded at 407,086 metric tons (MT), falling within estimates of 400,000 to 1 million MT. Soybean meal sales reached 269,590 MT, meeting expectations, while soybean oil sales totaled 1,473 MT, aligning with estimated reductions.
