Soybean prices experienced slight declines on March 26, 2026, with March soybeans closing at $11.37 ½, down 3 ½ cents. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price rose by 7 ½ cents to $10.76 ½. During the week ending February 12, soybean sales surged, reaching 798,216 metric tons (MT), 66.2% higher than the same week last year, with China being the largest buyer at 415,500 MT.
Meanwhile, meal sales were reported at 480,937 MT, surpassing trade estimates of 220,000-450,000 MT, while bean oil sales reached 11,134 MT. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) recorded an increase of 40,463 contracts in the managed money net long position, totaling 163,611 contracts as of February 17. The U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled that the President cannot use the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) for tariffs, affecting market sentiment.
