On Wednesday, soybeans closed down between 1 to 3 ¼ cents, with the cmdtyView national average cash bean price dropping 2 cents to $9.33 3/4. Soymeal futures fell by $1 to $3.40, while soy oil futures declined by 1 to 6 points. A private export sale of 101,400 MT of soybean meal to Guatemala was reported by the USDA for the 2025/26 period.
Export sales data will be released on Thursday, with estimates predicting soybean sales between 0.6 and 1.6 MMT, meal sales at 150,000 to 450,000 MT, and soybean oil between net reductions of 10,000 and sales of 30,000 MT. Brazilian soybean exports for September are projected to be 7.15 MMT, a decrease of 0.38 MMT from the previous estimate.
