Upcoming Weekly Export Sales data, scheduled for release on Thursday morning, is anticipated to show between 0.4 and 1.5 million metric tons (MMT) in soybean sales for the 2025/26 crop year. Soymeal sales are expected between 0 and 400,000 MT, and soybean oil business may see net reductions of 5,000 MT or sales up to 41,000 MT.
According to Statistics Canada, the projected canola crop stands at 20.03 MMT—reflecting a 4.1% increase from last year—while soybean production is estimated at 7.134 MMT, a reduction of 5.7% from the previous year.
