Soybean futures experienced significant gains on Thursday, with nearby contracts closing 10 to 13.25 cents higher. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price rose 12.75 cents to $10.73. Soymeal futures increased by $2.50 to $7.40, while Soy Oil futures dropped by 30 to 37 points.
On September 25, export sales data revealed 870,533 MT of soybeans sold, while soybean meal sales were at 623,515 MT with 216,215 MT cancellations for the 2024/25 season. Brazil’s CONAB estimates the 2025/26 soybean crop at 177.6 MMT, a slight decrease from previous estimates.
