**Soybean Prices Rise on Friday Morning**
Soybean contracts increased by 3 to 4 cents on Friday after bouncing back from early session lows, with previous day’s contracts finishing down by up to 1½ cents for old crops, while new crops gained up to 3 cents. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price fell by 2¼ cents, settling at $11.23¼.
The USDA’s weekly export sales report revealed a total of 258,066 metric tons for the 2025/26 marketing year, the second lowest recorded for the year and a 30.47% decline from the previous year’s sales for the same week. China led as the top buyer, purchasing 199,200 metric tons, while new crop sales were only at 2,980 metric tons. Soybean oil usage for biodiesel reached a seven-month high of 1.058 million pounds in February, comprising 44.34% of overall feedstock.
