Soybean futures are currently trading 9 to 10 cents lower in front months, with cash prices at $10.91 1/4, down 9 cents. Soymeal futures have lost $4 to $5, and Soy Oil futures have decreased by 21 to 30 points.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released finalized Renewable Volume Obligations (RVOs) for biomass-based diesel, set at 8.86 billion RINs for 2026, exceeding prior projections. The reallocation due to small refinery exemptions raises the 2026 total to 9.07 billion RINs. Additionally, total soybean export commitments reported by the USDA stand at 37.256 million metric tons, an 18% decline from the previous year, representing 87% of USDA’s export projection.
USDA’s NASS is expected to release planting intentions data on Tuesday, with projections of 85.55 million acres of soybeans, a 4.33 million acre increase compared to last year.
