Soybean Prices Decline in Tuesday Morning Session

Soybean futures are down 1 to 2 cents early Tuesday, following a Monday close that saw gains of 3 to 5.5 cents. The USDA’s FGIS reported soybean export shipments at 779,352 metric tons (28.64 million bushels) for the week ending April 2, marking a 12.3% increase from the previous week but a 4.6% decrease compared to the same week last year. China was the top destination, receiving 498,789 metric tons, while total marketing year exports for 2025/26 stand at 30.67 million metric tons, which is 26.3% lower than the same period last year.

As of last Thursday, AgRural estimated that 82% of Brazil’s soybean crop has been harvested, trailing behind last year’s pace of 87%. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price increased by 3.25 cents to $10.97. May 26 Soybeans closed at $11.66.
