First Solar Leads S&P 500 While Carnival Struggles on Tuesday
In early trading on Tuesday, shares of First Solar emerged as the top performer within the S&P 500 index, rising by 3.9%. Despite this increase, First Solar has experienced a year-to-date decline of approximately 2.8%.
Conversely, Carnival has marked its position as the worst performer among S&P 500 components for the day, with shares dropping 3.1%. This decline contributes to a year-to-date drop of about 9.0% for Carnival.
Additional Movers in the Market
Two other notable movements today include Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which is also down by 3.1%, and Dominion Energy, climbing up 3.5% during the trading session.
