In early trading on Thursday, shares of NVIDIA topped the list of the day’s best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 8.9%. Year to date, NVIDIA registers a 108.8% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is First Solar, trading down 4.3%. First Solar is showing a gain of 39.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Live Nation Entertainment, trading down 4.1%, and Super Micro Computer, trading up 8.5% on the day.
