In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Super Micro Computer surged, becoming the top performer among S&P 500 constituents with a notable increase of 16.2%. This marks a robust year-to-date gain of 48.3% for the company.
Conversely, Northrop Grumman stands out as the worst-performing S&P 500 component of the day, with shares declining by 3.5%. Looking at the year-to-date performance, Northrop Grumman has dropped approximately 3.2%.
