SpaceX is set to release its second-quarter earnings report tomorrow after market close, marking its first quarterly report as a public company since its IPO in June. Analysts expect revenues of $6.72 billion, a significant increase from $4.69 billion in Q1 2026, although the company is projected to incur a loss of 26 cents per share.

Key segments include Connectivity, which is profitable with Q1 revenues of $3.26 billion, driven by 10.3 million Starlink subscribers. In contrast, the AI segment, despite generating $818 million, faced significant losses of $2.46 billion in operating income due to heavy investments. The Space segment reported $619 million in revenues with a $662 million loss, reflecting ongoing development costs associated with Starship.

Investors are particularly interested in SpaceX’s guidance for the future as it has never issued formal financial projections, especially regarding its high capital expenditures in AI and Space. The outcome may hinge on whether the profitability of Starlink can sustain these ambitious investments.
