**Key Highlights on SpaceX’s Financial Outlook and Elon Musk’s Projection**
Elon Musk’s forecast for SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX) suggests the company might generate approximately $3.5 trillion in revenue by 2033, a figure nearly 2.4 times the combined revenue of Amazon and Walmart over the past year. Currently, SpaceX is projected to achieve about $45 billion in revenue for 2026, necessitating an 86% annual growth rate over the next seven years to meet Musk’s ambitious prediction.
As of the first half of 2026, SpaceX reported $12.5 billion in revenue, an increase of 54% year-over-year, with Starlink’s broadband service contributing 60%. However, the space segment generated only $1.6 billion, remaining flat year-on-year, while the company’s AI infrastructure, despite being its fastest-growing division, faced significant capital expenditures totaling $23.6 billion and only $3.4 billion in revenue.
Musk’s history of unmet timelines, notably with Tesla, raises skepticism regarding his projections for SpaceX. Analysts remain cautious, estimating a more realistic revenue growth trajectory aligned with market conditions and competitive challenges.
