Invesco NASDAQ Internet ETF Sees Surge in Trading Volume
Unusual Activity Spotted on Monday with Significant Movements in Major Tech Stocks
The Invesco NASDAQ Internet ETF, known by its ticker PNQI, experienced a notable uptick in trading volume on Monday afternoon, with over 140,000 shares exchanged. This figure surpasses the three-month average of about 51,000 shares. PNQI’s shares increased approximately 1.1% during the session.
Among the ETF’s components, Apple took the lead with more than 13.5 million shares traded, rising around 1%. Alphabet also contributed to the volume, climbing by about 0.7% with over 10.7 million shares changing hands. Interestingly, Beyond Meat distinguished itself as the most successful component of the day, soaring by about 9.7%. In contrast, GitLab struggled, experiencing a decline of approximately 1.6%.
