Spruce Power Sees 2% Increase Despite Larger Yearly Loss in Q4

Spruce Power Holding Corporation (SPRU) reported a wider net loss of $6.9 million, or 38 cents per share, for Q4 2025, compared to a loss of $5.9 million, or 32 cents per share, in Q4 2024. Despite this, the company experienced a year-over-year revenue increase of 19%, reaching $24 million, up from $20.2 million. The results were announced on December 31, 2025.

Operating EBITDA improved significantly, rising to approximately $17 million from about $10.8 million the previous year, largely due to a decline in total operating expenses to $21.8 million from $26.7 million. The company also reported cash flow from operations turning positive at $5.1 million, a noteworthy improvement from negative $4.1 million in the prior year.

As of year-end 2025, Spruce Power owned cash flows from about 84,000 home solar systems across 18 states, with total portfolio value estimated at $848 million. The company reduced its debt by $35.1 million during the year, improving outstanding principal to $695.5 million, while maintaining $93.1 million in cash and cash equivalents.
