ETF Outflows Analyze: SPY and JUNP See Significant Decreases
In examining the latest data on units outstanding from the ETFs monitored by ETF Channel, it was noted that the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) experienced the largest overall outflow. A total of 36,450,000 units vanished, marking a 3.4% decline compared to the previous week. During the morning trading session, major components of SPY, such as Apple and Nvidia, reflected a downturn, with shares of Apple down approximately 1.4% and Nvidia dropping about 1.2%.
Furthermore, when considering percentage changes, the ETF witnessing the most drastic outflow was the JUNP ETF. This fund saw a reduction of 160,000 units, translating into a substantial 40.0% decrease in outstanding units from the prior week.
