In early trading on Thursday, shares of Honeywell International surged 7.5%, marking it as the top performer in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Year-to-date, Honeywell’s stock has gained 42.2%.
Conversely, Alphabet emerged as the worst performer for the day, trading down 5.8%, although it holds a year-to-date increase of 2.9%. Additionally, Amazon.com saw a decline of 3.0%, while Chevron recorded a 1.7% increase.
