In early trading on Friday, Sherwin-Williams emerged as the top performer among Dow Jones Industrial Average components, with shares increasing by 1.8%. Year-to-date, however, the company has seen a slight decline of approximately 0.5% in its stock value.
Conversely, Salesforce was the worst performer of the day, experiencing a drop of 2.3%. The company’s year-to-date performance shows a significant decrease of around 38.6%. Other notable Dow components include International Business Machines (IBM), down 2.2%, and Goldman Sachs Group, up 1.7%.
