The USDA forecasts global sugar production for 2025/26 to increase by 4.7% year-over-year to 189.318 MMT, with ending stocks rising by 7.5% year-over-year to 41.188 MMT. Global sugar consumption is projected to reach 177.921 MMT, marking a 1.4% increase year-over-year.
