In June 2014, a $1,000 investment in Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) would have grown to approximately $280,600 by now, representing a staggering 27,960% increase. The dramatic rise in value is attributed to the company’s successful pivot toward artificial intelligence, particularly following the launch of ChatGPT in late 2022, which increased demand for Nvidia’s GPUs necessary for the extensive computations required in AI model training.

Last quarter, Nvidia reported revenue of $26 billion, marking a 262% surge from the same quarter in 2014, when revenue was only $977 million. The company’s net margin during this period also saw a substantial increase, soaring to 58.5% compared to 13.6% a decade ago.
