Tesla’s Decade of Growth
Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) has seen its stock price surge by 2,430% over the past decade, turning an initial investment of $10,000 into over $253,000 as of March 19. The company’s market capitalization currently stands at $1.2 trillion, reflecting its global presence and innovative sales strategy.
Revenue has increased significantly, from $4 billion in 2015 to $95 billion last year, driven by ramped-up production and deliveries of electric vehicles. Despite trading 22% below its peak, Tesla’s impressive performance has outpaced the overall market. However, experts caution that the company’s future returns may not match the extraordinary gains of the past decade, particularly due to its high price-to-earnings ratio of 353.
