Thursday Corn Markets Show Continued Weakness

Corn futures are experiencing slight losses, with May futures down 3/4 cent to $4.52 as of Thursday. The CmdtyView national average cash corn price decreased by 2 1/4 cents to $4.24. There were 113 deliveries issued against May corn futures overnight.

According to the USDA’s Weekly Export Sales report, 1.362 million metric tons (MMT) of 2025/26 corn were sold for the week ending April 30, which falls within trade estimates of 1-1.8 MMT and reflects an 18.1% decrease compared to the same week last year. Additionally, South Korea imported 132,000 MT of optional origin corn overnight.

Current pricing includes July futures at $4.66 1/4, down 2 1/4 cents, and December futures at $4.88, down 2 cents.
