Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, Genesco Inc. (GCO) reported notable options trading today, with 1,015 contracts traded, representing approximately 101,500 underlying shares. This accounts for about 58.6% of GCO’s average daily trading volume of 173,340 shares over the past month. Notably, the high volume stemmed from the $17.50 strike put option expiring March 19, 2027, which saw 707 contracts traded, equating to roughly 70,700 underlying shares.

In addition, Robinhood Markets Inc. (HOOD) experienced a significant options volume with 136,230 contracts traded, representing about 13.6 million underlying shares and 56.9% of its average daily volume of 23.9 million shares. The $105 strike call option expiring July 24, 2026, was particularly active, with 6,635 contracts traded, corresponding to approximately 663,500 shares.

Gentherm Inc. (THRM) recorded 2,030 contracts in options trading, which represents roughly 203,000 underlying shares or about 56.8% of its average daily trading volume of 357,215 shares. The $40 strike put option expiring December 18, 2026, saw high interest as well, with 1,000 contracts traded, amounting to approximately 100,000 underlying shares.
