On Thursday, oil and gas exploration and production shares surged by approximately 3.2%. Seadrill’s shares led this increase, rising by about 39.8%, while VAALCO Energy experienced an 18.5% gain.
Additionally, oil and gas refining and marketing shares climbed by around 1.8%, with PBF Energy advancing by 5.3% and Delek US Holdings increasing by 4.8%.
