In trading on Thursday, oil and gas exploration and production shares rose by approximately 2.9%. Vermilion Energy led the sector with an increase of about 14.4%, while NextDecade saw a gain of around 8.1%.
Additionally, rental, leasing, and royalty shares increased by about 2.4%, with North European Oil Royalty Trust rising by approximately 8% and San Juan Basin Royalty Trust gaining 6.5%.
