Utilities Fund Leads the Pack on Thursday, While Regional Banks Struggle
Energy Stocks Shine Amid Widespread ETF Performance Variations
On Thursday, the Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund ETF is standing out in the market, showing an increase of approximately 2.4%. Strong performers within this fund include Constellation Energy, which has surged by around 5.8%, and Vistra, which is up by about 4.4% today.
In contrast, the iShares U.S. Regional Banks ETF is lagging behind its peers, experiencing a decline of about 2.1% during Thursday afternoon trading. Notable underperformers in this sector include U.S. Bancorp, which is down roughly 5%, and Synovus Financial, with a decrease of about 3.9% on the day.
