Thursday’s Key Options Trading Highlights: COIN, TDG, ABNB

Among the underlying components of the S&P 500 index, Coinbase Global Inc (COIN) experienced significant options trading today with 87,411 contracts traded, equating to approximately 8.7 million underlying shares. This volume represents 88.3% of COIN’s average daily trading volume of 9.9 million shares over the past month. High activity was noted for the $190 strike call option set to expire on May 15, 2026, with 10,237 contracts traded, totaling about 1 million underlying shares.

TransDigm Group Inc (TDG) recorded options trading of 3,187 contracts, equivalent to about 318,700 underlying shares, which is 79.2% of its average daily trading volume of 402,360 shares. The $1310 strike call option, also expiring on May 15, 2026, accounted for 1,561 contracts and about 156,100 underlying shares.

Airbnb Inc (ABNB) had a total options volume of 25,511 contracts today, representing approximately 2.6 million underlying shares and 77.3% of its monthly average trading volume of 3.3 million shares. The $150 strike call option, set to expire on May 8, 2026, saw 3,640 contracts traded, or around 364,000 underlying shares.
