SPDR S&P 500 ESG ETF Sees Unusually High Trading Volume
The SPDR S&P 500 ESG ETF experienced significant trading activity on Thursday afternoon, with over 1.2 million shares exchanged, compared to its three-month average of about 208,000. The ETF’s shares were up approximately 0.1% during the session.
Key Components Driving Volume
Among the ETF’s components, Nvidia recorded the highest trading volume, rising about 1.3% with over 92.4 million shares changing hands. Alphabet also had notable trading activity, climbing 2.7% with over 45.4 million shares traded. In contrast, Seagate Technology Holdings performed best among the components, gaining approximately 3.3% on the day. Conversely, Williams-Sonoma lagged, dropping about 5.3%.
