In a groundbreaking move last Friday, Germany’s Medical Cannabis Act came into effect, propelling public health to center stage and paving the way for patients to access top-notch cannabis medicines manufactured in Germany, as highlighted in Tilray’s official statement.
Head of International and Chief Strategy Officer at Tilray Medical, Denise Faltischek, hailed the decision, emphasizing the significance of expanding treatment options for patients and enabling personalized care. Faltischek stated, “The decision to open up the previously limited German medical cannabis market is an important step that will allow patients and physicians to explore effective treatment options tailored to individual needs.”

The Neumünster site stands as one of only three cannabis cultivation sites in Germany.
