Dropbox Inc. (DBX) reported mixed results for its second quarter, with adjusted earnings of 75 cents per share slightly exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 74 cents. Revenue rose by 0.9% year-over-year to $631.5 million, and the company added approximately 96,000 paying users, marking the third consecutive quarter of user growth. However, despite these results, analysts have downgraded their expectations, with 2026 revenue projected to be flat at around $2.513 billion to $2.523 billion.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2023 decreased from $3.08 to $3.04, while the 2024 figure fell from $3.47 to $3.27. As a consequence, Dropbox holds a Zacks Rank of #5 (Strong Sell) due to declining analyst sentiment, while the Internet – Services industry is currently ranked in the bottom 30% of Zacks Industry Rank.
