Nvidia’s Dominance in the AI Sector
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), the leading manufacturer of discrete GPUs, boasts a market cap of approximately $4.3 trillion and has seen its stock surge nearly 22,000% over the last decade. The company’s GPUs are integral to the operations of major AI firms, solidifying its position as the primary supplier in this rapidly expanding market.
As Nvidia pivots from gaming GPUs to data center products, it controls over 90% of the discrete GPU market. With projected revenue and earnings per share (EPS) growth rates of 36% and 37% respectively from fiscal 2026 to 2029, analysts remain bullish on Nvidia despite competition from AMD and Broadcom.
