Nvidia Unveils Next-Generation AI Superchip Platform Amid High Demand
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) announced the launch of its next-generation AI supercomputer platform, Rubin, during the CES conference in Las Vegas this month. CEO Jensen Huang reported that sales for the existing Blackwell chips are “off the charts,” highlighting an overwhelming demand for AI computing solutions. Rubin offers improvements such as a cost per token that could be as low as one-tenth of the existing Blackwell offerings, which is expected to drive further adoption of AI technologies.
Amid evolving trade restrictions, Nvidia has begun production of its H200 chips in anticipation of demand from Chinese tech companies, aiming to satisfy orders that could number in the hundreds of thousands. However, the company’s financial guidance has not included potential revenue from the Chinese market due to geopolitical uncertainties, adding a layer of unpredictability to future earnings.
Additionally, Huang expressed strong support for autonomous delivery systems firm Serve Robotics, which has rapidly expanded its fleet of delivery robots to over 2,000 in partnership with major brands like Uber and DoorDash. The company expects to generate $2.5 million in revenue for 2025, but projections indicate it could grow to approximately $25 million by 2026, suggesting significant growth potential in the expanding sector of physical AI.
