Nvidia and Alphabet Drive AI Investment Growth
Nvidia’s data center revenue surged by 66% year over year, reaching $51 billion last quarter, reflecting a long-term shift towards AI-driven computing. The company expects capital spending on AI infrastructure to increase from $600 billion in 2026 to at least $3 trillion by 2030. Nvidia reported net profits of $99 billion on $187 billion in revenue over the last four quarters, with analysts predicting a 37% annual growth rate in earnings.
Alphabet achieved over $100 billion in quarterly revenue for the first time, driven by growth in AI and cloud computing, with its Google Gemini model attracting 650 million monthly active users. The company plans to spend more than $91 billion on capital expenditures in 2025 and increase this in 2026, enabled by an operating cash flow of $151 billion. Alphabet’s cloud revenue risen 34% year over year in the third quarter, underscoring its competitive position in the AI market.
