Nvidia has launched its DGX Quantum system, the first GPU-accelerated quantum computing platform, aimed at advancing quantum programming. The system is backed by Nvidia’s Grace Hopper Superchip and its open-source CUDA Quantum programming model. The company reported a fiscal 2026 revenue of $44.1 billion with a free cash flow of $60.8 billion in 2025, allowing substantial investments in quantum tech despite the industry’s maturation stage.

IBM has made notable strides in the quantum arena with the deployment of its Quantum System Two in Japan and the release of the 127-qubit Eagle processor. As of now, IBM’s Qiskit software platform remains the leading tool for quantum programming, with the company earning $1 billion in cumulative revenue since 2017. IBM has also forecasted a free cash flow exceeding $13.5 billion for 2025.

Microsoft has reported substantial advances in quantum computing, marking significant achievements like creating 24 advanced qubits in partnership with Atom Computing. The company’s Azure Quantum service features over 1,000 qubits anticipated by 2025. Microsoft announced fiscal 2025 revenues of $281.7 billion with cloud computing making up $75 billion of that total, showcasing strong backing for its quantum ambitions.
