Anthropic has confidentially filed for an initial public offering in the U.S., following a $65 billion funding round that valued the company at approximately $965 billion as of May 2023. The firm reported annualized revenue of $47 billion as of early May, signaling strong demand in the enterprise AI sector.
Alphabet, Amazon, and Salesforce are significant investors in Anthropic. Alphabet plans to invest up to $40 billion, including $10 billion in cash, and currently holds around 14% of the company.
