Tom Lee Forecasts S&P 500 at 15,000 by 2030

Tom Lee, head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors, predicts the S&P 500 will reach 15,000 by 2030, representing a 120% increase from its current level of 6,830. Lee cites the entry of Millennials into their peak earning years and increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) as key drivers of this growth.

The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF, which measures the performance of the S&P 500, has delivered a total return of 700% over the past two decades, compounding at an annual rate of 10.9% when dividends are included. The technology sector makes up 33% of the S&P 500, with companies like Nvidia and Apple being top contributors.
