Amazon’s cloud computing segment, Amazon Web Services (AWS), generated $128.7 billion in revenue in 2025, showing a 20% increase year-over-year. In contrast, its e-commerce sales were $588.19 billion, yielding just $36.36 billion in income. This shift marks AWS as a key player in Amazon’s financial success.
Berkshire Hathaway, led by Greg Abel since Warren Buffett stepped down as CEO at 95, continues to hold significant stakes in influential companies. Notably, Berkshire owns a 22.1% stake in American Express, which reported $4.5 billion in net interest income for Q4, a 12% increase from the previous year.
