In trading on Tuesday, shares in education and training services rose by approximately 2.3%, with Lincoln Educational Services (LINC) leading the pack, gaining about 7.7%. Education Management (EDMC) also showed strength, increasing by around 4.7%.
Additionally, oil and gas exploration and production stocks saw a collective increase of about 1.8%. Stone Energy (SGY) was a standout, up by 9.7%, while Gastar Exploration (GST) rose by approximately 7.8%.
