Cigarettes & Tobacco Stocks Surge; Railroads Show Steady Growth

On Tuesday, shares in the cigarettes and tobacco sector emerged as top performers.

The sector increased by approximately 3.7% for the day. Philip Morris International led this rally with an impressive gain of around 9.1%. Additionally, Turning Point Brands saw its shares rise by about 4.6%.

Railroad stocks also demonstrated robustness, climbing about 1.8% collectively. GATX stood out with a notable 7% increase, while Norfolk Southern experienced a rise of about 5.7% on the same day.
