In trading on Tuesday, shares in the cigarettes and tobacco sector rose by approximately 1.7%, with Ispire Technology leading the group at an increase of 4.5%, followed closely by Turning Point Brands, which gained 1.8%.
Additionally, the construction materials and machinery sector also performed well on the same day, climbing by around 1.7%. Key contributors included Valmont Industries, which saw a gain of 5.2%, and Owens Corning, which increased by 3.5%.
