The ALPS CoreCommodity Natural Resources ETF (CCNR) experienced unusually high trading volume on Tuesday, with over 1.5 million shares traded compared to the three-month average of approximately 30,000 shares. On the same day, shares of CCNR were down about 0.5%.
The ETF’s component MP Materials saw significant activity, rising approximately 24.3% with over 50.3 million shares traded. Another component, Baytex Energy, was up about 0.3% with over 15.8 million shares changing hands, while Liberty Energy lagged, trading down by around 6.3%.
