Tuesday’s Significant Options Trading Highlights: NVDA, MSFT, COIN

NVIDIA Corp (NVDA) experienced significant options trading today, with 1.5 million contracts exchanged, corresponding to approximately 147.1 million underlying shares. This represents 85.7% of NVDA’s average daily trading volume of 171.6 million shares over the past month. Notably, 83,685 contracts of the $200 strike put option expiring June 24, 2026, accounted for about 8.4 million underlying shares.

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) also saw a robust options trading volume, totaling 339,392 contracts, equating to around 33.9 million underlying shares, or 85.6% of the average daily trading volume of 39.6 million shares. The $380 strike call option expiring June 24, 2026, recorded a particularly high volume of 24,724 contracts, representing 2.5 million underlying shares.

Coinbase Global Inc (COIN) reported a trading volume of 45,701 contracts, which reflects 4.6 million underlying shares, approximately 52% of COIN’s average daily volume of 8.8 million shares. The $165 strike call option set to expire on June 26, 2026, had 1,948 contracts traded today, representing about 194,800 underlying shares.
