The Materials sector parallels this performance, also up 1.5%. Celanese Corp (CE) and Builders FirstSource Inc. (BLDR) are notable performers within this group, gaining 5.3% and 4.8%, respectively. The Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLB) has increased by 1.2% today and 2.41% year-to-date, with Celanese Corp up 2.54% and Builders FirstSource Inc. up 7.44% year-to-date; CE represents about 0.8% of XLB’s holdings.
