Uber Technologies, Inc. reported second-quarter earnings on August 6, 2025, with earnings per share at 63 cents, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate by one cent, and marking a 34% year-over-year increase. Total revenues reached $12.65 billion, surpassing the expected $12.45 billion and growing 18% year over year.
In the second quarter, Mobility accounted for 57.6% of total revenue, generating $7.28 billion (up 19% YoY), while Delivery revenues rose 25% to $4.10 billion. Freight generated $1.26 billion, down 1% from the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $2.11 billion, within the guidance range.
Gross bookings totaled $46.75 billion, an increase of 17% year over year, with Mobility gross bookings at $23.76 billion and Delivery at $21.73 billion. For Q3 2025, Uber expects gross bookings between $48.25 billion and $49.75 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $2.19 billion to $2.29 billion.
